I would like to run with a fellow TrainAsONE user. How is this best achieved?

Category: FAQs

While TrainAsONE does not yet have a specific feature for creating a shared workout for you and your friend(s) to run, there are a few of options.

  1. Run off-plan. This means not following any specific workout, but simply running together at a pace comfortable to both runners.
  2. Decide on a day to run together and have the slower runner lead the workout, according to their plan. If desired, the other runner could create a Custom Workout for the run within TrainAsONE beforehand.
  3. Both runners could create a mutually agreed Custom Workout for the intended day within their respective plans. In general, the pace and duration would be dictated by the runner currently training at the lower level.

The important point is, whatever you do TrainAsONE will adjust the plan of each runner following analysis of the recorded run as appropriate.

Our intention is to build a specific shared workout and invitation feature in the future. This would include suggestions from the AI on workouts that would be mutually beneficial. However, this is not currently a high priority.
